CHAPTER 273: Qin & Tang Extra 47

The next day, Qin Yinong woke up early and personally went out to buy breakfast.

Tang Hanzhang could only eat liquid food, so Tang Ruoyao asked her to bring a minced meat congee. As for herself, she requested the same as usual.

Before entering the hospital room, Qin Yinong tidied up her appearance in the restroom, dampening her fingers to smooth down the stray hairs at her temples. With a radiant expression, she knocked on the door.

Tang Ruoyao came to open the door and was slightly stunned to see Qin Yinong standing there.

Qin Yinong was dressed in a long beige trench coat, paired with fitted trousers and leather ankle boots. Her delicate brows and clear, autumn-like eyes gave her a gentle and refined aura, especially with the faint smile at her lips, making her resemble a warm and understated piece of jade.

"Is Uncle in?" Qin Yinong asked politely, her voice neither too loud nor too soft, just enough for Tang Hanzhang inside the room to hear.

Tang Ruoyao gave her another once-over before stepping aside to let her in. "Yes, he's awake."

Qin Yinong nodded, her smile growing even more refined.

Tang Ruoyao felt uncomfortable all over, as if a big bad wolf had donned the guise of an innocent lamb.

She took the breakfast Qin Yinong had brought and placed it on the table.

Meanwhile, Qin Yinong followed her inside and greeted Tang Hanzhang on the bed. "Good morning, Uncle."

Tang Hanzhang remained silent, simply staring at her.

Qin Yinong felt like Tang Hanzhang's eyes were deeper than they had been yesterday.

"Are you feeling better today, Uncle?"

Tang Hanzhang nodded.

Tang Ruoyao took out the congee Qin Yinong had bought from the bag. As she lifted the disposable lid, the scent of the porridge overpowered the antiseptic smell in the room. Smiling at her father, she said, "Dad, this is the breakfast Qin Yinong specially brought for you."

Tang Hanzhang thought expressionlessly: 'A bowl of congee and she thinks she can marry my daughter?'

But being a man of courtesy, he offered Qin Yinong a faint smile.

Qin Yinong was so flattered she nearly grinned outright.

She quickly cleared her throat.

While Tang Ruoyao fed her father the congee, Qin Yinong, having nothing else to do, glanced around before picking up a few apples and heading to the restroom to wash them. She then placed them in a fruit bowl and sat by the window, peeling them with a fruit knife.

Tang Hanzhang's eyes flicked in her direction, and Tang Ruoyao followed his gaze.

The father and daughter exchanged glances.

Tang Ruoyao pressed her lips together in a smile.

A hint of resignation flashed in Tang Hanzhang's eyes.

'A grown daughter is no longer one's own.'

Qin Yinong shook the long strip of apple peel into the trash bin and walked over. Her eyes briefly swept over Tang Hanzhang before firmly settling on Tang Ruoyao, not daring to stray an inch. "Can Uncle eat fruit?"

Tang Ruoyao replied, "Yes, it's best to juice it." She lifted her chin, pointing to the juicer in the room.

Qin Yinong went to wash the juicer.

The sound of running water came from the restroom.

Tang Ruoyao whispered to her father, "You're being too stern."

Tang Hanzhang raised an eyebrow.

'This is stern? She's just too timid to even look at me.'

Tang Ruoyao pouted slightly.

The night before, she had given her father an shortened version of her story with Qin Yinong. Tang Hanzhang had maintained his inscrutable expression, saying nothing. Since he was still recovering, Tang Ruoyao couldn't push him to speak, so she still had no idea what his stance was.

But it seemed there might still be hope. If he was truly against it, he probably wouldn't have even let Qin Yinong into the room.

Tang Ruoyao thought of this and curved her lips into a smile. Propping her chin with one hand, she asked Tang Hanzhang cheerfully, "Dad, isn't my girlfriend really beautiful?"

Tang Hanzhang rolled his eyes and immediately closed them tightly.

Tang Ruoyao: "..." She gently poked his shoulder with her fingertip. "Dad, why are you like this?"

Qin Yinong came out holding the cleaned inner pot of the juicer. Seeing Tang Hanzhang with his eyes closed, she assumed he was asleep. She glanced down at the peeled apples on the plate. 'Really? Another opportunity to impress gone just like that?'

Having eaten his fill, Tang Hanzhang naturally drifted off to sleep.

The two of them, Qin and Tang, began their breakfast, simply cutting the apples into pieces to share. The juicer was quite noisy, and Qin Yinong didn't want to disturb Tang Hanzhang.

Lunch and dinner were both bought by Guan Han. Qin Yinong stayed in the hospital room all day, during which Tang Hanzhang woke several times. Qin Yinong could feel her father-in-law's scrutinizing gaze, but with Tang Ruoyao's reassurance, she managed to remain composed.

Qin Yinong had come from far away, and Tang Ruoyao couldn't keep her cooped up in the hospital the entire time. The next day, she took her out for a stroll. Last time, they had visited her elementary school, this time, they went to her middle school.

The back gate of the middle school was open. Hand in hand, they walked through the empty campus, with Qin Yinong frequently looking back over her shoulder. When Tang Ruoyao asked what she was looking at, Qin Yinong said she was worried a security guard might suddenly appear.

Tang Ruoyao burst into laughter.

They didn't run into a security guard, but they did run into a teacher. The school had faculty dormitories, and some teachers stayed over during the New Year instead of going home. A female teacher approached them from ahead, getting closer and closer.

Qin Yinong wanted to run, but Tang Ruoyao tightly gripped her hand. As the teacher passed by, Tang Ruoyao greeted her warmly, "Hello, teacher."

The teacher paused, then replied, "Hello."

Tang Ruoyao smiled faintly. "I used to be a student here. I came back to visit the school during the New Year."

The teacher nodded and asked with a smile, "When did you graduate?"

"Three years ago." Tang Ruoyao replied.

She wasn't wearing a mask, only a scarf covering her smooth, jade-like chin. Her striking features caught the teacher's attention, who studied her carefully before her expression shifted slightly. "Are you Tang Ruoyao?"

Now it was Tang Ruoyao's turn to be surprised.

"How did you know?"

The female teacher tucked a strand of hair behind her ear and said with a smile, "I shared an office with your homeroom teacher, Mr. Liao. I always heard him talk about you when you were a student. He said your grades were excellent, and you were a good candidate for Tsinghua or Peking University, but you insisted on taking the acting academy entrance exam, which made him so angry that he would scold you three times a day."

Liao Changhui, the homeroom teacher of Tang Ruoyao's science class, was a serious middle-aged man. The acting major entrance exam required a high level of skill in language, singing, physique, recitation, and acting. No matter how talented Tang Ruoyao was, she couldn't focus on both academics and professional training. As the intensity of her training increased, she focused on preparing for the art exam, and her grades inevitably slipped. In the end, her college entrance exam scores only met the threshold for a mid-tier 985 university. Of course, she was still far ahead of many art students whose grades were a complete mess.

At the post-exam thank-you banquet, Tang Ruoyao remembered Liao Changhui slightly tipsy, slapping her shoulder firmly and saying, "It's good that you have your own goal and that you're able to achieve it."

So he used to scold her three times a day when she was in school?

Tang Ruoyao lowered her head and rubbed her nose.

After the female teacher left, Tang Ruoyao took Qin Yinong to her former classroom. The sign on the door now read "Class 1, Grade 12," completing a three-year cycle. By June this year, these students would step onto the battlefield of the college entrance exams.

The classroom door was locked. Tang Ruoyao pressed her face against the window, peering in at the desks, chairs, and the spotlessly clean blackboard. She sighed, "I really wish I could go back to high school."

"You want to take the college entrance exam again? And the art exam, too?" Qin Yinong teased.

Both the college entrance exam and the auditions for the acting department of the Capital Drama Academy were like thousands of troops trying to cross a single log bridge. While others only had to cross one, Tang Ruoyao had to conquer two. Yet she had crossed both bridges brilliantly.

"No, no," Tang Ruoyao quickly replied. "I'd rather stay in college."

Qin Yinong chuckled softly.

The two leaned against the corridor railing, gazing down at the lush green sports field in the distance.

The wind rustled through the leaves, creating a gentle murmur.

Suddenly, Tang Ruoyao remembered something. She turned her head and said, "I recall you took the college entrance exam too, and your scores were decent. Why did you jump straight into the entertainment industry without any preparation?"

If she had ambitions early on, she should have taken the art school auditions like her.

Qin Yinong clicked her tongue and said, "It's all my sister's fault."

Tang Ruoyao: "Huh?"

A leaf drifted down, spinning in the wind toward them. Qin Yinong reached out and caught it, holding it between her fingers. She grumbled, "She had to go study so far away and never came back—not even for New Year. If I had obediently gone to college and ended up as a regular office worker in some company, I wouldn't even be able to afford a plane ticket abroad."

Qin Yinong let go of the leaf, and it fluttered down from the railing.

She looked up, closed her eyes, and said, "Being a celebrity is great. You have more money than you can spend, and you can go wherever you want, whenever you want. If I wanted to go to the US, I could charter a private plane. Who knew she would come back? Tsk, all my years of effort were for nothing."

Tang Ruoyao burst into laughter. "Hahahaha!"

Qin Yinong didn't laugh.

Tang Ruoyao reached for her wrist. The moment Qin Yinong opened her eyes, Tang Ruoyao caught a glimpse of a faint shimmer in her eyes.

Qin Yinong's voice became softer. "If I hadn't entered the entertainment industry back then..."

She wouldn't have signed with that ruthless agency, wouldn't have been drained dry, wouldn't have learned to flatter and deceive in countless social situations, wouldn't have faced public condemnation, wouldn't have offended Li Yichuan, wouldn't have gambled with her life, and none of the subsequent events would have happened.

But then, she also wouldn't have met Tang Ruoyao.

A sudden sense of relief washed over Qin Yinong, and she smiled.

If this was the heavens' way of testing her, with Tang Ruoyao as the reward for passing, then she would gladly endure it all.

Qin Yinong turned sideways, leaning against the corridor pillar, and beckoned to her Tang Ruoyao. Already in tune with her thoughts, Tang Ruoyao opened her arms and wrapped them around Qin Yinong's waist. Qin Yinong rested her hand on Tang Ruoyao's back, her chin nestled in the crook of the girl's shoulder, and sighed contentedly.

She thought she probably wouldn't have nightmares anymore.

Tang Ruoyao had initially wanted to visit their homeroom teacher, Liao Changhui, but since she and Qin Yinong hadn't gone public yet and lacked an official status—not to mention being unsure how he would react—she decided to postpone the visit. Maybe she'd go alone after Qin Yinong returned to Beijing.

That afternoon, Tang Ruoyao received a call from a high school classmate asking if she was home and wanting to meet up for shopping and dinner.

Tang Ruoyao didn't feel like going, but Qin Yinong urged her to agree. A young girl should dress up beautifully, stroll the streets with a few good friends, and enjoy the best years of her youth.

Yet, as Qin Yinong listened to her conversation with the high school classmate, she couldn't help but feel that even though there was only a seven-year age gap between them, their lives were worlds apart.

High school classmates? To Qin Yinong, it felt like a lifetime ago—she didn't even know where her graduation photo was anymore.

But Tang Ruoyao was different. When she walked around campus, teachers still recognized her as the student whose face had once graced the honor roll.

How could the gap between people be so vast? Qin Yinong felt a little dejected.

Tang Ruoyao hung up the phone and asked, "Should I take you back to the hotel? Or do you want to go to the hospital to keep my dad company?"

The latter option sent an instinctive shiver down Qin Yinong's spine.

But who was Qin Yinong? She was the type to march straight into the tiger's den despite knowing the dangers. Now that Tang Hanzhang was the final obstacle standing between her and Tang Ruoyao, how could she possibly back down?

With the solemnity of a warrior heading into battle...

Qin Yinong declared with grim determination, "I'll go to the hospital!"

Tang Ruoyao said sympathetically, "...If you don't want to go, we don't have to."

Qin Yinong insisted, "No! I must go!"

Tang Ruoyao cupped her face in both hands and pressed a light kiss to her lips.

Qin Yinong buried her face against Tang Ruoyao's shoulder and whimpered, "I'm so scared."

Tang Ruoyao cleared her throat, barely suppressing a laugh, and said, "Don't be scared. We won't go."

"We're going!" Qin Yinong suddenly declared. "We must go! No one can stop me!"

Half an hour later.

Qin Yinong stood outside the hospital room door, nervously scratching at the wall.

Tang Ruoyao didn't rush her, waiting patiently by her side.

Tang Ruoyao took a pair of nail clippers from her bag and trimmed the nail that Qin Yinong had chipped from scratching at the wall. She filed it down and looked at her with a helpless expression. Qin Yinong stuffed her hands into her pockets, took a deep breath, and said, "Let's go in."

Tang Hanzhang happened to be awake.

Jiang Xuezhen had been so frequently irritated by Tang Hanzhang that she simply stopped coming. Now, only a nurse was present. The nurse had taken care of the tasks Qin Yinong hadn't gotten around to in the morning, just finishing a freshly squeezed kiwi juice.

Seeing the two of them arrive, the nurse excused herself.

Qin Yinong eyed the glass of kiwi juice on the table, itching to make a move.

Tang Ruoyao gave her an encouraging look.

Summoning her courage, Qin Yinong seized the opportunity to offer the juice, placing it by the bedside with a straw. "Uncle."

Tang Hanzhang took a sip and said kindly, "Thank you."

Tang Ruoyao's meetup time with her classmate was approaching, and she hadn't even set her bag down. "Dad, my classmate invited me out shopping. If you need anything, just ask Qin Yinong."

Tang Hanzhang asked, "Which... classmate?"

Tang Ruoyao replied, "Tan Shiyu."

Tang Hanzhang nodded.

Tang Ruoyao glanced at Qin Yinong, their eyes meeting in silent understanding.

With a smile, Tang Ruoyao asked, "Then I'll head out?"

Both her father and her partner answered in unison, "Go ahead."

The corners of Tang Ruoyao's lips curled deeper as she slung her bag over her shoulder and left.

Now, Qin Yinong was left alone to face her father-in-law. Despite his still-recovering facial muscles, Tang Hanzhang's gentle demeanor made everyone around him feel at ease.

He quietly read a book on his bedside tray table, not needing Qin Yinong's assistance at all.

Qin Yinong stayed by the bedside for a while, feeling that she should act more naturally. So, just like when she had accompanied Qin Lunong before, she settled into the sofa and flipped through a book she had brought along.

From time to time, the two of them stole glances at each other, creating a peaceful and harmonious atmosphere.

Tang Ruoyao sent a message: [I've met up with my classmates. How about you?]

Qin Yinong used the book as cover, peeking the camera over the top to snap a photo of Tang Hanzhang, who was deeply engrossed in his reading, then quickly ducked back down to type: [Your dad.]

[What about you?]

[I'm also on the sofa reading.]

[Congrats, my dad likes people who love reading. You've probably scored some points with him.]

Qin Yinong didn't quite believe that her father-in-law's favor could be won so easily, but she couldn't help the joy that spread across her face. She typed excitedly: [I'll keep working hard!]

Tang Ruoyao sent her a [flying kiss] sticker.

Before she could reply, another message popped up: [My classmates are rushing me. Talk later.]

Though Tang Ruoyao was quiet by nature, she wasn't unsociable. Back in high school, she had made a few close friends. Over time and distance, their contact had grown sparse. But human emotions were a mysterious thing—Tan Shiyu had gathered their old group together, and within a few words, the awkwardness melted away. Five girls might as well have been five thousand ducks, chattering nonstop.

"Tangtang?"

"..."

"Tangtang?"

"Hmm?" Tang Ruoyao came back to her senses and looked at her with a dazed expression.

Tan Shiyu, with her long hair cascading over her shoulders and the audacity to wear a skirt bare-legged in the dead of winter, was a bold character. She bit down on her straw and asked, "What's on your mind? You've been distracted this whole time."

Tang Ruoyao's fingers, tucked in her pocket, brushed against the warm screen of her phone. "Nothing."

Tan Shiyu's pretty eyes narrowed. "I saw you were smiling so happily. Are you thinking about a man?"

That was absolutely not the case. Tang Ruoyao answered confidently, "Of course not." She was thinking about her woman.

The girls laughed and joked, and the conversation turned to whether they had a partner.

Of the five, two were in relationships and two weren't. Once they had all shared, they turned to Tang Ruoyao in unison: "Are you seeing anyone?"

Tang Ruoyao held a cup of hot milk in her hands. She took a sip, her tone casual, though the slight upward curve of her lips betrayed her pride. "Yeah."

"Wow!" The group erupted.

Tang Ruoyao chuckled. "What? Am I not allowed to date?"

One of the girls said, "No, we're just surprised about what kind of person could catch your eye."

Another chimed in, "Back in high school, you were the crush of countless boys at our school. So many wrote you love letters and slipped you notes. Every break, the hallway outside our classroom would be packed with guys just trying to catch a glimpse of you."

Tang Ruoyao rolled her eyes. "It wasn't that exaggerated."

Tan Shiyu insisted, "It totally was. You just never noticed because you weren't interested. Hey, remember in our second year when two seniors got into a fight over you?"

Tang Ruoyao: "???"

Tan Shiyu burst into laughter and said, "I knew you wouldn't remember. That time you accidentally dropped your cafeteria card, and a senior boy picked it up. He was absolutely overjoyed. On his way to return it to you, another boy intercepted him, and the two of them ended up fighting."

Tang Ruoyao: "..."

Tan Shiyu continued, "Later, a girl brought the card back to you."

A flicker of realization finally crossed Tang Ruoyao's face. "Oh, I remember that." Who knew her cafeteria card had such a dramatic journey?

After reminiscing for a while, the group suddenly exchanged glances and turned to her in unison, their eyes burning with curiosity as they chorused, "So, who exactly are you dating?"

"Age."

"Name."

"Occupation."

"And maybe income?"

Tang Ruoyao was nearly overwhelmed by the barrage of questions.

She collected herself and replied, "She's twenty-seven. Name and occupation are confidential. Her income is higher than mine."

Tan Shiyu nudged her arm and teased, "Come on, that's not fair! How about we trade info?"

Before Tang Ruoyao could refuse, another girl who had a boyfriend chimed in, "Our boyfriends are so lame—how could they possibly compare to a photo of your drop-dead gorgeous man?"

Tan Shiyu burst out laughing. "Hahahaha, sis, no need to be so harsh!"

Tang Ruoyao had no intention of revealing anything now. She smiled mysteriously and said, "You'll find out eventually."

Tan Shiyu was the first to catch on. "Oh right, you're a celebrity now. When you go public with your relationship, the whole world will know. Big star, how about signing an autograph for us before you leave?"

Tang Ruoyao played along with an air of nonchalance. "Of course, of course."

"Let's go shopping!" Arms linked, the group chatted and laughed as they headed toward the mall.

After trying on several outfits, Tan Shiyu joked, "I'm never going shopping with Tangtang again. The same clothes look like fairy robes on her and potato sacks on us."

One classmate protested, "Potato sacks sound too harsh. At least call us turtles."

Another swallowed and added, "Now I'm craving turtle soup."

The girls burst into laughter.

Youth itself radiated from them—regardless of height or weight, their vibrant energy and laughter brought smiles to everyone else in the store.

Tang Ruoyao stood in front of the mirror, wearing a short white down jacket that was notoriously hard to pull off. With her delicate features and fair skin, she wore it effortlessly. She snapped a photo with her phone and sent it to Qin Yinong.

Qin Yinong: [Beautiful, buy it!]

Tang Ruoyao: [You say that about everything.]

Qin Yinong: [Because you look good in everything.]

Before Tang Ruoyao could finish typing her reply, another message popped up: [Of course, you look best when you're not wearing anything.]

Tang Ruoyao nearly fired back: 'When it comes to that, you're too busy moaning with your eyes closed to even notice how I look!' But her shyness got the better of her, and she hesitated too long to send it.

Qin Yinong only grew bolder: [Sister wants you. Are you giving yourself to me or not?]

Tang Ruoyao: "..."

Suddenly, an icy touch against her cheek made her snap her phone shut and shove it into her pocket. Heart pounding, she looked up coldly. "What is it?"

Tan Shiyu flinched at the frosty glare and took a step back. "N-nothing! I just noticed your ears and face were really red, so I—"

Tang Ruoyao's expression softened. She smiled gently and explained, "This jacket is just a bit too warm."

Tan Shiyu said, "I happen to feel cold. Can I try it on?"

Tang Ruoyao took off her down jacket and handed it to her. "Sure, go ahead."

Sitting on the rest sofa, Tang Ruoyao raised a hand to rub her burning ears, then pulled out her phone again. Holding it with both hands, she pondered for a moment before smirking and typing:

[If you've got the guts, don't just talk big. All talk and no action—are you even capable?]

In the hospital room.

Tang Hanzhang saw Qin Yinong, who was sitting on the sofa, suddenly stand up with a look of fury.

Based on her earlier uncontrollable smile, she must have been chatting happily with her daughter. So why the sudden anger now? Seeing how she looked like fire was about to shoot from her nostrils, would she have tendencies toward domestic violence in the future?

With her vast family fortune, if Tang Ruoyao married into such a household without any support, what if...

Tang Ruoyao deliberately dropped bombs right on Qin Yinong's triggers. If Qin Yinong weren't currently confined to a hospital room with no way to fly over, she would have immediately taught that audacious little brat a lesson.

'That little brat!'

Fuming, Qin Yinong paced back and forth in the room, oblivious to the increasingly darkening gaze of her esteemed father-in-law.

Tang Ruoyao gleefully plucked the tiger's whiskers, thoroughly enraging the beast, then contentedly put away her phone and continued shopping for clothes, eating, strolling around, eating some more, before everyone went their separate ways.

Tang Ruoyao packed some takoyaki and an iced drink for Qin Yinong to take to the hospital.

She pushed the door open and entered.

Qin Yinong, seated on the sofa, lifted her eyelids, a dangerous glint flashing in her eyes before quickly vanishing. As usual, she stood up gracefully and smiled gently. "You're back."

Tang Ruoyao set the snacks on the table and beckoned her over to eat.

Qin Yinong's mind was filled with thoughts of devouring the person in front of her—how could she spare any attention for takoyaki? She ate one piece, then, using the excuse that she had to film a reality show soon and couldn't indulge in high-calorie foods, gave the rest to Tang Ruoyao.

Having eaten from afternoon till evening, even with all the walking, Tang Ruoyao still felt a bit full. But she hated wasting food, so she forced herself to finish it, rubbing her stomach and saying, "I'm so stuffed."

Qin Yinong replied meaningfully, "You'll digest it soon."

A fleeting thought crossed Tang Ruoyao's mind, too quick to grasp, so she dismissed it.

There was also a cup of iced drink.

Tang Ruoyao shook her head. "I really can't drink anymore."

Qin Yinong reached out and touched the cup—it was ice-cold. She handed it to Guan Han and said, "I'll drink it later."

Tang Ruoyao asked strangely, "Didn't you say you wouldn't drink these anymore?"

Qin Yinong said, "You'll drink it too."

Tang Ruoyao was confused. "Wait, is it for you or for me?"

Qin Yinong smiled but didn't say anything else.

She was afraid Tang Ruoyao's pure and innocent little heart might be frightened to death—better to show her through practice.

Tang Ruoyao said, "I'm going to the restroom, then I'll take you back to the hotel."

Qin Yinong replied, "Go ahead."

Tang Ruoyao didn't notice, but Tang Hanzhang did. Qin Yinong's eyes revealed a sly, foxy smile when she looked at Tang Ruoyao's back, and it disappeared in an instant.

After washing her hands, Tang Ruoyao emerged and said, "Dad, I'm heading out for a bit."

Tang Hanzhang looked at her, then at the seemingly dignified Qin Yinong beside her. It was like watching a lamb walk into the tiger's den, completely unaware of the danger.

"Maybe... let her... stay here... tonight?" Tang Hanzhang said with difficulty and in broken sentences.

At least under his watchful eye, he could keep an eye on things.

Qin Yinong had to fly back tomorrow and needed a good night's rest. Before Qin Yinong could respond, Tang Ruoyao decided for her. "No need, Dad. The hotel charges whether we stay or not, and it's expensive. I'll take her back and return soon."

Knowing he couldn't dissuade her, Tang Hanzhang resignedly closed his eyes.

Tang Ruoyao, as usual, escorted Qin Yinong to the hospital entrance, straightened her collar, and was about to remind her to be careful when Qin Yinong suddenly grabbed her slender wrist and pulled her across the street.

Tang Ruoyao: "Huh?"

Qin Yinong said, "There's something I need to do. Come back to the hotel with me."

Tang Ruoyao gave an "Oh" and obediently followed.

At the hotel room door, Qin Yinong took the iced drink from Guan Han's hand and blocked her outside, saying, "Go out for a while. I'll call you when you can come back."

Guan Han lowered her eyes. "Understood."

Qin Yinong placed the iced drink in the fridge to keep it cold. Tang Ruoyao was still standing in the middle of the living room, looking innocent and waiting for her to explain.

A faint smile curled at Qin Yinong's lips as she thought to herself: 'Tonight, I'll show you just how capable I really am.'
