After Qin Zhaoci hung up Sun Sui's call, she received a voicemail from an unknown number.
"Hello, good day." Qin Zhaoci naturally knew who the caller was, thanks to Sun Sui's reminder, but she didn't introduce herself proactively. After all, she wasn't the one in need.
"Hello, Ms. Qin." Wei Keze greeted proactively, "I am Wei Keze from the Wei family."
"I am Qin Zhaoci." Qin Zhaoci nodded. "Mr. Wei, is there something you need by calling me so late?"

"Revenge?" Ye Lianyin furrowed her brows, looking puzzled. "What revenge?"
"It's a secret, I can't tell you yet." Qin Zhaoci shook her head. "You'll find out soon enough."
Looking at Qin Zhaoci's mysterious expression, Ye Lianyin reached out and twisted her arm, rolling her eyes. "You really love teasing people, don't you?"
"Hehe," Qin Zhaoci blinked, rubbed her slightly sore arm, and nodded. "A little bit."

The next day, shortly after dropping off Ye Lianyin at school, Qin Zhaoci drove to Wei Keze's house.
The Wei family's house was also located in a prime area of the Empire.
After ringing the doorbell, Wei Keze's butler came to open the door. When he saw Qin Zhaoci, he bowed politely and asked, "Are you Ms. Qin?"
"Yes," Qin Zhaoci nodded and opened the trunk of her car. "The fruits are here."
The butler nodded and quickly approached to pick up the three boxes of fruits from the car, saying, "Mr. Wei is waiting for you inside. Please follow me."
Qin Zhaoci nodded and followed the butler inside, curiously observing the layout of the Wei family's house.
Walking through the corridor, the butler led Qin Zhaoci through the living room. There was a young woman sitting on the sofa, seemingly in her early twenties, with a clean and innocent appearance, wearing a white dress.
When the young woman saw the butler carrying the boxes, her eyes lit up. "Are these strawberries?"
The butler turned to look at Qin Zhaoci, who nodded. "Yes, I brought three boxes of strawberries."
The young woman quickly got up, wanting to take a look, but Qin Zhaoci heard a dry cough from nearby.
The woman pouted and silently withdrew her hand, giving the man a resentful glare.
Qin Zhaoci curiously observed the man, comparing his face to the information she had found online. She realized that this person was Wei Keze, whom she had been asked to meet yesterday.
He also appeared to be in his early twenties, but Qin Zhaoci knew that he was actually 35 years old. He was an Alpha.
"Sorry for the trouble," Wei Keze approached and held the woman's hand, embracing her. "This is my wife, Su Weiyi. She's 25 years old and a Beta."
"Beta?" Qin Zhaoci raised an eyebrow in surprise and carefully examined Su Weiyi. Indeed, she couldn't sense any fluctuation of Omega pheromones from her.
Su Weiyi was already used to such reactions from others. After all, Alphas often faced their susceptible periods every month, and to make those periods easier to endure, most Alphas chose Omegas as their partners. Only a few would choose Betas, especially someone like Wei Keze with his status as an Alpha.
With this in mind, Su Weiyi smiled and said, "I'm not surprised by your reaction at all. In fact, in the beginning, his two fathers also didn't approve. If he hadn't insisted, we wouldn't be together."
Qin Zhaoci chuckled and shook her head. "Mrs. Wei, I didn't mean anything else. I was just a bit surprised because it's rare to see an Alpha-Beta (AB) couple. That's all."
"I can tell that you and Mr. Wei have a great relationship. You're very happy together."
"Yes." Su Weiyi lifted her head and exchanged a smile with Wei Keze. After a moment, her expression changed, and she pushed Wei Keze away, covering her mouth as she quickly ran to the bathroom.
Wei Keze furrowed his brow in worry and gave Qin Zhaoci an apologetic glance before following Su Weiyi to the bathroom.
When they came out again, Wei Keze held Su Weiyi's waist with a concerned expression. "Why don't you go back to the room and rest?"
Su Weiyi nodded and, pale-faced, was escorted upstairs by Wei Keze.
Qin Zhaoci observed the situation and glanced at the butler, pointing to the boxes. "Open them and clean them up to be delivered to your lady."
The butler hesitated for a moment, then nodded and quickly bent down to unpack the boxes, carrying them into the kitchen.
Qin Zhaoci pursed her lips, feeling somewhat disdainful of the butler's lack of insight.
Wei Keze quickly came downstairs and saw Qin Zhaoci patiently waiting. He smiled apologetically at her and explained, "We've been married for five years, and this is our first child, so we've been very cautious. She's having strong reaction, and I've been worried."
"It's okay." Qin Zhaoci smiled and shook her head. "I understand."
Wei Keze nodded and led Qin Zhaoci to the reception room.
Qin Zhaoci took the initiative to start the conversation. "The reason I came here this time is to discuss cooperation with Mr. Wei. As you may have noticed, I'm in the fruit business, and in the future, I plan to launch other projects. It's not convenient for everyone to keep ordering through my secretary, so I'd like Wei Corporation to help me develop an e-commerce website."

Wei Keze suddenly realized and immediately agreed upon hearing that Qin Zhaoci was doing it for her wife. "I understand. Pleasure working with you, Ms. Qin."The pleasure is mine." Qin Zhaoci shook Wei Keze's hand and stood up to take her leave after a moment.
Half a month later, Yue Lituan received an anonymous mail filled with the dirty deeds Duke Celia had done using her position over the years. Many of the incidents showed her involvement with Yue Guangli.
After receiving the email, Yue Lituan first had someone investigate the IP address it was sent from, but they found nothing.
Unable to find out who was helping her, Yue Lituan wasn't too concerned. After all, she had been gathering evidence against Yue Guangli for a long time, and Count Celia had done many things for Yue Guangli in recent years. She had been wanting to take him down for a while.
Now that the evidence was delivered to her doorstep, she didn't want to miss the opportunity.
